When I purhased the then ANDANTE, I knew the old prop was in bad shape and affected by electrolysis (more lack of maintenace!!) I decided to defer replacement but had seriously considered replacing it with the Flex-o-Fold 3 blade propeller. The propeller simply looked like a big brake - but I just wanted to get the new TATOOSH back in the water and do some sailing.
Then the drowning ocurred and that changed everything. With TATOOSH2 moved to New England and a new engine going in something had to be done about the propeller. Liked the Gori and thought about using a Campbell Sailor fixed 3 blade on an interim basis. The Campbell would have had drag roughly equivelent to a 2 blade fixed propeller which would have been much better. Then I cam back to the Flex-o-fold which was immediately available down in Marblehead.
